Three-Part Telescopic Joint

As a requirement of the growing industry interest in Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) systems, RedSeal Ltd offer clients a full design, manufacture and supply of a three-barrel telescopic joint. The three-barrel telescopic joint allows for a 40ft stroke length to be packaged in a much shorter joint (in a collapsed/closed position) saving critical height in CAPM and MPD system stack-ups.

The three-barrel slip joint utilises RedSeal Packer technology along with a hydraulic latch mechanism between the inner, middle and outer barrels giving all the operational benefits of the RedSeal Packer system coupled with reduced over-side work due to the remote operation of the hydraulic latch mechanisms.
